STATE LEAGUE EXPERIENCE
- Sherbrooke 2003
While playing in the state league competition with Sherbrooke (ABA) he had 36 points and 39 rebounds in one game (2003).
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Italy - Benetton Treviso (2004–2005)
Eversteyn joined Benetton Treviso for the 2004–2005 Italian Serie A preseason, playing under head coach Ettore Messina.
COLLEGE
Eversteyn played college basketball at the University of Nevada during the 2001–02 season before transferring to Hill College, where he competed from 2002 to 2004 and completed his collegiate career prior to 2004.
In the 2001–02 season at Nevada, the Wolf Pack competed in the Western Athletic Conference under head coach Trent Johnson and finished 19–10 overall with a 9–5 conference record, qualifying for postseason play in the National Invitation Tournament.
During that 2001–02 campaign, Eversteyn appeared in limited action as a reserve, recording minutes across non-conference and WAC play while contributing in rebounding and interior defensive rotations as part of Nevada’s frontcourt depth.
Nevada’s 2001–02 roster included teammates such as Kirk Snyder, Terrance Green, Todd Okeson and Kevinn Pinkney, with the team ranking among the WAC leaders in scoring defense and field-goal percentage defense that season.
After transferring to Hill College, Eversteyn competed in the NJCAA ranks during the 2002–03 and 2003–04 seasons, helping the Rebels participate in Region V competition against programs such as Midland College, South Plains College and Navarro College.
Across his Hill College tenure, he contributed as a frontcourt player in regular-season and regional tournament play, with Hill College qualifying for NJCAA Region V postseason competition during that period and competing within the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches’ junior college structure.
He completed his college eligibility at Hill College and graduated prior to 2004, concluding his United States collegiate basketball career across NCAA Division I and NJCAA competition.
