NBL EXPERIENCE
Troy Turner made his NBL debut with the Townsville Crocodiles on 9/1/2004. He scored two points in his first game.
Following an overhaul of their playing roster, the Townsville Crocodiles entered the 2004/05 season with renewed confidence under head coach Ian Stacker. The team added key players including John Rillie, Brad Newley, Robert Brown, and Casey Calvary, while veteran contributors like Derek Moore, Pat Reidy, and Kelvin Robertson provided stability off the bench. Among the squad was Troy Turner, who signed on as a development player and made a single appearance during the season.
Turner saw limited court time, logging just one game and failing to register any statistics. Despite not featuring prominently on the floor, his presence added depth to the Crocodiles’ backcourt rotation, offering insurance during a long and physical season.
Townsville finished third on the ladder with a 19–13 record and reached the semi-finals after defeating Melbourne in the Elimination Final.
Troy Turner played two seasons with the Townsville Crocodiles.
