Ball Up Announces 2016 Australian Tour Schedule

The best international Streetball Players will be returning to our shores to face some of Australia’s finest basketball talent with a full-time spot on the Ball Up roster and a professional contract worth USD $100,000 up for grabs.

Ball Up, the leading Streetball brand in the world and home to some of the most talented athletes to play the game, have announced the 2016 Ballup Australian tour schedule, set to kick off on 15th November in Sydney and then head down to Melbourne on the 19th of November.

The International Streetball tour will bring an impressive roster of Streetball stars featuring The Professor, Bone Collector, AO, Sik Wit It, and Air Up There who are keen to return Down Under to perform in front of the strong base of streetball fans we have here and find the next Ball Up star.

The lucky aussie who impresses the Ball Up legends not only earns a spot on the Ball Up roster, but a professional contract worth USD$100,000.

Each tour event is filmed and later broadcast as part of the popular “Ball Up: Search For The Next” TV series which airs locally on Fox Sports.

“We’re very excited to be coming back to Australia said, CEO Demetrius Spencer.  “Ball Up is once again giving players across the country the opportunity to compete in Sydney and Melbourne, with the chance to secure a professional contract.  We encourage basketball fans in each city to come out and show support for the local players while enjoying basketball in its purest form.”

Ball Up superstar “The Professor” has received over 30 million views showcasing his skills under the disguise of Spiderman that rival those of leading NBA players.

The Professor and other key players will arrive ahead of the competition for a brief promotional tour including some visits to local schools and youth centres aimed at encouraging young Australian ballers to take part and support underprivileged children by taking part in local activities.
