Due to Reyes outstanding play during the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship, he earned an invitation to the Milwaukee Bucks preseason training camp.
He played in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) with Titanes de Morovis (2002), Criollos de Caguas (2004) Caciques de Humacao (2005), Criollos de Caguas (2006).
In 2007 he won the League Most Valuable Player (MVP) while playing with the Gigantes de Carolina after averaging 19.7 PPG and 110.9 RPG.
He has also played for Capitanes de Arecibo (2010), where he won the 2010 Puerto Rican championship with Arecibo, Cangrejeros de Santurce (2011), Piratas de Quebradillas (2013-2015). Reyes won the 2013 Puerto Rican championship with Quebradillas, Leones de Ponce (2016).
In August 2008, he signed with Hebraica y Macabi in Uruguay.
Reyes played junior-college basketball at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas, suiting up for the Neosho County Panthers during the 2001–02 season as part of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and competing in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC).
Reyes attended Neosho County CC for the 2001–02 season before beginning his professional career in 2002. While specific box score statistics from his 2001–02 Neosho County season are not widely archived online, he was part of the Panthers’ NJCAA roster and developed at the two-year college level prior to turning professional.
Neosho County CC during that era competed in NJCAA men’s basketball against other Kansas community colleges within the KJCCC structure, participating in regular-season conference play and regional NJCAA competition. The Panthers program has historically served as a development pathway for players advancing to professional leagues and four-year institutions, and Reyes’ time there represented the foundation stage of his post-high school basketball career.
Reyes’ junior-college tenure was followed immediately by his professional debut in 2002, marking the transition from the NJCAA level into paid competition. His experience at Neosho County Community College in Kansas is documented as the only collegiate stop of his career before entering the professional ranks.
