NBL EXPERIENCE

Tom Daly made his NBL debut with the Adelaide 36ers at 19 years of age. He scored two points in his first game.

2012/13
Adelaide entered the 2012/13 season focused on building around Australian talent, adding Adam Gibson, Anthony Petrie, and Jason Cadee after the Gold Coast Blaze folded, while retaining Daniel Johnson, Mitch Creek, Stephen Weigh, and Nathan Crosswell. Tom Daly, previously a development player, was elevated to the senior roster to fill in for the injured Mitch Creek following his season-ending Achilles injury in December. The club opted for a single import in CJ Massingale, who was later replaced by American guard Scott Christopherson.

Daly (2.6 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.9 assists) appeared in 17 games and brought energy in limited minutes, offering backcourt depth behind Gibson, Cadee, and Crosswell. Despite strong early form, Adelaide slumped to a 4–17 finish over the final 21 games, ending the season at 8–20 and last on the ladder for the second straight year. Coach Marty Clarke was not retained, and championship-winning coach Joey Wright was brought in for a reset.

Tom Daly played four seasons the Adelaide 36ers. He averaged 1.6 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 0.5 assists in 69 NBL games.
