BIO: Kobe Williamson was born in Melbourne (VIC) and began playing basketball as a junior with the Dandenong basketball program.
Kobe Williamson made his NBL debut with the Tasmania JackJumpers at 24 years of age. He went scoreless in his first NBL game.
After missing the playoffs on percentage with a 13-16 record, Tasmania entered 2025/26 without Clint Steindl (retired), Reuben Te Rangi (to New Zealand), Fabijan Krslovic (to Melbourne), Gorjok Gak (to South East Melbourne), Jordon Crawford (to Turkey) and Milton Doyle (to Melbourne). Scott Roth added Nick Marshall (via Adelaide), Josh Bannan (via Brisbane), Ben Ayre (via South East Melbourne), David Johnson (via Memphis), Bryce Hamilton (via Rostock), Tyger Campbell (via Vechta) and Kobe Williamson (via Seattle), signing Williamson to a two-year deal to provide frontcourt depth behind Will Magnay.
Williamson made his NBL debut at RAC Arena on September 20, where Williamson (0 points, 1 rebound, and 1 steal) played 4:51 as Tasmania defeated Perth 75-72. Hamilton (26 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals) and Johnson (12 points) led the JackJumpers, while Mason Jones (16 points) was Perth’s leading scorer.
Williamson (0 points and 0.7 rebounds across 7 games) averaged just over three minutes per appearance during his first professional season. His debut remained his strongest statistical game before a foot injury suffered at practice sidelined him for six weeks. Williamson returned against Brisbane on February 6, playing 2:41 as Tasmania recorded a club-record 114-70 victory, but he did not appear again.
Hamilton (18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists across 27 games) and Bannan (15.4 points and 9.5 rebounds across 34 games) led Tasmania, while Johnson (12.7 points and 3.8 rebounds across 23 games), Deng (10.8 points and 4.9 rebounds across 29 games), Campbell (10.4 points and 3.8 assists across 34 games), Marshall (10.4 points and 5.2 rebounds across 34 games), Magnay (10.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks across 24 games) and Ayre (6.3 points across 29 games) formed the main rotation. Hamilton earned All-NBL Second Team honours, Bannan was named club MVP, Marshall received the Coaches’ and Players’ awards, Magnay won Defensive Player of the Year and Deng was voted Fan Favourite as Tasmania finished sixth with a 14-19 record.
Melbourne ended Tasmania’s season in the Play-In Qualifier with an 82-68 win behind Delany (33 points and 6 rebounds), Doyle (19 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists) and Krebs (11 points), while Marshall (20 points and 6 rebounds), Bannan (16 points and 5 rebounds) and Johnson (16 points and 3 rebounds) led the JackJumpers as Williamson remained unavailable with his foot injury.
