The Sydney Kings officially unveiled their new star imports today, reigning NBL MVP Jerome Randle and former NBA player Jeremy Tyler looking great in the purple n gold.
Ahead of his first game as a King, against Illawarra tomorrow, Randle says he expects a hostile reception.
“I know it’s not going to be a good fan welcome for me but it is what it is. I’m a basketball player, I don’t listen to the fans – at all.”
Tyler – who played for the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks in the NBA – says he wants to bring his distinctive fire to the group, and hope that it catches on with the rest of his teammates.
The Kings take on the red-hot Illawarra Hawks on Thursday night (7:30pm on Fox Sports 503), before taking on the Adelaide 36ers on Saturday afternoon (5:30pm on Fox Sports 503 and SBS Viceland).
The Kings next home game is on Thursday, November 30 at Qudos Bank Arena.
