The NBL’s preseason tournament, the Australian Basketball Challenge (ABC), will be streamed LIVE at www.nbl.com.au from the 23rd-26th of September.
The ABC will be played at the Brisbane Entertainment Center and will feature all eight NBL teams plus the Zhejiang CB Golden Bulls and Tianjing Ronggang from the Chinese Basketball Association.
Each team will play three games each – one game per day – with the winner of the ABC decided on a points system.
The team that wins the tournament will receive the Loggins-Bruton Cup, and tournament MVP will get the Ray Borner Medal.
The tournament will give fans their first real taste of NBL action for the season, and will provide a curtain raiser to a season which many believe the league’s best yet.
The NBL season begins in Brisbane on Friday October 6th at 2:30pm AEST with the return of the Brisbane Bullets who will play 2015/16 NBL Champion Perth Wildcats.
