The Sydney Kings have assembled a formidable roster this season and have started their year on a roll with a 8 point victory over Cairns and a 22 point demolition of Adelaide but are still yet to field their full squad.
While ‘Next Star’ Didi Louzada is currently listed as out, he is a chance to make his NBL debut this week, meanwhile Kevin Lisch and Andrew Bogut are unlikely to play with both dealing with injuries sustained against the 36ers.
Kevin Lisch sustained an injury to his left ankle during last weekends home game and Andrew Bogut experienced low back tightness and has been reintegrating back into team training this week.
His playing status for this weekend remains day to day and will be a game time decision.
This week, in round three of NBL competition the Kings face the New Zealand Breakers fresh from their NBLxNBA games against the Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder, who are yet to play their first NBL game of 2019-20 and will be eyeing a depleted Sydney line-up as a great way to get a win to start the year.
The team expected to play the season with a starting line-up of Casper Ware, Lisch, Louzada, Jae’Sean Tate and Bogut but with Lisch likely to miss the next two weeks of NBL competition fans may not see the Kings full starting line up until mid-November.
Lisch will be evaluated for his return in a fortnight.
