NBL EXPERIENCE
Pathman Matialakan made his NBL debut with the Singapore Slingers at 26 years of age. He scored two points in his first game.
Pathman s/o Matialakan is a Singaporean basketball player who last played for the Singapore Slingers in the Asean Basketball League (ABL).
He goes by the nicknames “Pride of the Lion City” as the only Asian to ever played in the Australian national Basketball League and “17-foot assassin” as he models his mid-range jump shots after NBA player David West.
Pathman is the first Singaporean to ever play and score points in a professional league, the Australian national Basketball League, and the longest serving local player in the team’s four-year history.
On August 2009, Pathman signed a one-year contract to play for the Singapore Slingers along with Hong Wei Jian.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Singapore - Singapore Slingers (2008–2012), Xin Hua Sports Club (2019)
Matialakan, who was a part of the Singapore Slingers team that competed in the NBL from 2006-2008 continued to play for the team through 2012.
Matialakan played for the Slingers in the 2008 Singapore Challenge Series, where the team faced clubs from Indonesia, the Philippines and the wider region before the series ended in January 2009.
Matialakan was with the Singapore Slingers for the 2009 ASEAN Basketball League season, signing a one-year contract in August 2009. Before the ABL campaign, the Slingers went 2–2 in the 2009 Singapore Challenge and defeated San Miguel Beermen 71–65.
In the 2009–10 ASEAN Basketball League season, Matialakan played 18 games with one start for the Singapore Slingers. He averaged 3.7 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.4 assists while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 88.9 percent from the free-throw line.
Matialakan appeared in three playoff games for the Slingers in 2010, averaging 3.3 points and 2.3 rebounds as Singapore lost its ASEAN Basketball League semifinal series to Satria Muda BritAma 2–1.
Matialakan remained with the Singapore Slingers for the 2010–11 ASEAN Basketball League season. The Slingers finished fourth at 7–8 before losing their semifinal series to the Chang Thailand Slammers 2–1.
Matialakan continued with the Singapore Slingers for the 2012 ASEAN Basketball League season. He scored 7 points in 20 minutes against Satria Muda BritAma on 15 January 2012, while the Slingers finished fifth at 9–12 and missed the playoffs.
Matialakan joined Xin Hua Sports Club for the 2019 ICBC National Basketball League Division I season in Singapore, playing under the Xin Hua Novu Blaze team name.
By 14 August 2019, Matialakan was averaging 4.5 defensive rebounds and a 10.5 index of success for Xin Hua Novu Blaze, with the team sitting 4–0 in the ICBC National Basketball League Division I standings.
