NBL EXPERIENCE

Milton Doyle made his NBL debut with the Tasmania JackJumpers at 28 years of age. He scored 13 points in his first game.

On June 24, 2022, Doyle signed with the Tasmania JackJumpers in Australia for the 2022/23 NBL season. After an improbable Grand Final berth, Tasmania looked for a replacement for club MVP Josh Adams, who had departed for Europe. Doyle came in and not only took over from Adams but played better than him as the team fell one game short of the championship series.

He led the JackJumpers in scoring, was named to the All-NBL First Team and earned Club MVP honors, averaging 17.2 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.

2023/24
On June 8, 2023, Doyle re-signed with the JackJumpers on a two-year deal. In the 2023/24 NBL season, the JackJumpers reached the NBL Grand Final series, where they won the NBL championship with a 3–2 grand final series victory over Melbourne United.

2024/25
On November 15, 2024, Doyle scored 32 points with eight 3-pointers in the JackJumpers’ 95–92 win over the Brisbane Bullets.

Milton Doyle currently plays for the Tasmania JackJumpers and has played 96 games in his NBL career. He has averaged 15.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists since entering the league in 2022.

On August 8, 2018, he signed a one-year deal with UCAM Murcia in Spain’s Liga ACB, marking his first major overseas stint. Following a return to the G League, Doyle moved to Italy, joining Pallacanestro Trieste in July 2020 for the 2020–21 season.

His connection with Indios de Mayagüez continued, as he played for the team in multiple offseasons between 2022 and 2025.

COLLEGE

Milton Doyle had an outstanding collegiate career at Loyola (Illinois), becoming one of the most accomplished players in the program's history. After transferring from the University of Kansas, he made an immediate impact, earning Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Newcomer and Freshman of the Year honors in his first active season (2013–14). He led the team in scoring (14.9 points per game), assists (3.6), steals (1.2), and blocks (0.7), becoming the first player in program history to top all four categories in a single season. His 478 total points ranked just four shy of Loyola’s freshman scoring record. Doyle also made history by hitting a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer to lift the Ramblers over Bradley in the MVC Tournament.

Despite missing time with an ankle injury during the 2014–15 season, Doyle remained a key contributor. He averaged 11.4 points, 4.2 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game while helping Loyola win the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). He was named MVP of the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic after leading the Ramblers past Texas Tech and Boise State. His strong play in clutch moments included a 20-point performance against UTSA and a game-winning assist in a crucial victory over Evansville.

In his junior year (2015–16), Doyle started 17 games and led the team in assists while finishing second in scoring (11.2 points per game). He scored in double figures 20 times and became just the 32nd player in Loyola history to surpass 1,000 career points. He also set a school record by hitting all six of his three-point attempts in a win over Toledo.

Doyle saved his best for last in his senior season (2016–17), averaging 15.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. He became the first player in program history to be named First-Team All-MVC and was also selected First-Team NABC All-District 16. He closed out his career ranking eighth in school history in scoring (1,606 points) and fifth in assists (459). His 32 consecutive games scoring in double figures during his senior year underscored his consistency. Loyola earned its first Associated Press Top 25 vote since 1984–85 during his final season.

Doyle’s versatility and leadership left a lasting mark on Loyola’s basketball program. He was the fifth player in school history to record over 1,500 points and 400 assists in a career and nearly became only the second to reach 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, and 400 assists. His all-around contributions helped set the stage for Loyola’s resurgence as a mid-major powerhouse in the years that followed.
