Matthew Dellavedova, along with Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to the court for the last regular game of the regular season.
Dellvedova has missed the last 29 games due to an ankle injury and hasn’t been able to take the court since February 4th. He will get his final chance to dust of the cobwebs before the playoffs against Australian Boomers teammate Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers in the last day of regular season action.
“It feels great. It’s been a long, long time coming,” Dellavedova said via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
The Bucks are reaching full strength just in time for playoff success. This week Malcolm Brogden and Thon Maker both made their returns from injury and All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is also returning from an ankle injury today, have all but ensured the Bucks will be ready to face their first round playoff opponents.
With Dellavedova and Antetokounmpo nursing ankle ailments the past two games, the Bucks beat both the New York Knicks and Orlando Magic the last two games, but the Sixers will be another matter with the team currently on a 15 game winning streak and the fact they are still hoping to lock down the third seed in the East.
The Eastern Conference Playoff positions are all up for grabs and the final day of the NBA season is set for a wild day of games to determine seeding for all eight Eastern conference teams.
After today’s game against the 76ers the Bucks could finish as high as sixth or as low as eighth in the Eastern Conference standings.
