Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic turned heads as he arrived at American Airlines Center prior to their match-up with the Los Angeles.

The Mavs players arrived at American Airlines Center for the contest against the Lakers, and supporters can see Doncic wearing the Australian national team jersey of teammate Josh Green from the 2020 Olympics, complete with a beanie hat pulled down over his face… clearly the result of an unknown bet between the two.
The Mavericks’ social media team posted the team’s looks as they arrived in a sponsored collaboration post with Tissot. The first image shows Green arriving at the game, slightly ahead of Luka giggling at the situation which is about to unfold.
Dallas went on to eliminate the Los Angeles Lakers from the NBA play-in tournament behind a 34-point triple-double from superstar Luka Doncic, which could open up a case for the Slovenia star to continue wearing the jersey if it delivers such success.
The 23-year-old got anywhere he wanted on the floor and put on a show in a history-making performance as the Mavs as they won for the fourth time in their last five games.
The victory moved Dallas within a game of the Golden State Warriors for third in the Western Conference. A gigantic fourth-quarter comeback by the LA Clippers gave the Mavericks a two-game cushion over the Utah Jazz and Denver Nuggets for fourth. Every game matters down the stretch, but the Mavs are in the driver’s seat to have homecourt in the first round of the playoffs.
Fans know Luka was not happy about it after the Olympics. Slovenia faced Australia in the bronze medal game but it was Green and Boomers teammate Patty Mills, who dropped 42 points on Slovenia, who collected the medal win. Doncic was visibly upset after the bronze medal loss and it’s believed Green makes sure to remind the Mavericks superstar of the game often, and Tuesday was no exception.
