After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA draft, Perry joined the Orlando Magic for the 2014 NBA Summer League.

In 2015, after a season with the Sydney Kings, he joined the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League.

Perry joined Körmend for the 2015–16 Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A season, playing his first season in Hungary after signing with the club on August 12, 2015, and that year ended with him adding a Hungarian Cup title in 2016.

Perry signed with Karpoš Sokoli for the 2016–17 season on September 6, 2016, and his time in North Macedonia included the club’s Macedonian Cup win in 2017.

Perry moved back to Hungary for the 2017–18 season with Szolnoki Olaj, with reports in late July 2017 noting he had signed with the club as his next European stop.

On July 3, 2018, Perry signed with Nizhny Novgorod for the 2018–19 season in Russia before shifting to France, where he signed with Metropolitans 92 on July 20, 2019 for the 2019 season.

Perry joined Mega Bemax on December 18, 2019 for the 2019–20 season in Serbia, and the club announced he was expected to make his debut on December 21, 2019 against Cedevita Olimpija in Ljubljana.

On May 22, 2020, Perry signed with Cedevita Olimpija for the 2020–21 season in Slovenia, and early in that stint he was the Slovenian Supercup MVP after scoring 20 points with seven rebounds and five assists in a 78–67 win over Krka as the club reclaimed the trophy in 2020.

On June 30, 2021, Perry signed with Panathinaikos for the 2021–22 season in the Greek Basket League and the EuroLeague, and in 19 EuroLeague games he played 16.4 minutes per contest and averaged 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while shooting 32.1% from the field and 32.6% from three-point range, with that season also including a Greek Super Cup title in 2021.

Perry transferred from Panathinaikos to Budućnost VOLI on January 23, 2022 for the remainder of the 2021–22 season in Montenegro, and his time with the club included a Montenegrin League championship in 2022.

Perry signed with Unicaja on June 13, 2022 for the 2022–23 season in Spain’s Liga ACB, and in December 2024 Unicaja announced an extension agreement that ran his contract through 2027.

COLLEGE

Perry played college basketball at Youngstown State from the 2010–11 season through the 2013–14 season, developing into a four-year starter and a three-time First Team All-Horizon League selection (2012–2014) while finishing his career with 1,991 points in 123 games (16.2 points per game).

In his freshman season at Youngstown State, Perry scored in double figures in 15 games with a then career-high 21-point performance against Loyola on January 27, 2011. In 30 games (23 starts), he averaged 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 29.2 minutes per game, and his season shooting splits were 41.7% from the field, 31.5% from three-point range, and 67.6% at the line.

In his sophomore season, he was named to the All-Horizon League first team and the NABC All-District second team. In 31 games (all starts), he averaged 16.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.4 steals in 34.8 minutes per game while shooting 48.2% from the field, 35.5% on three-pointers, and 70.6% on free throws.

In his junior season, he was named to the All-Horizon League first team and the NABC All-District first team. In 30 games (29 starts), he averaged 17.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.9 steals in 35.4 minutes per game, and Youngstown State reached its first Division I postseason in the 2012–13 CollegeInsider.com Tournament, beating Oakland in the opening round before losing to Canisius.

In his senior season, he was named to the All-Horizon League first team for the third year in a row. He was also named to the NABC All-District first team and the Capital One Academic All-America second team. On March 4, 2014, he tied a career-high 35 points in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament against Oakland. In 32 games (all starts), he averaged 21.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 2.4 steals in 36.5 minutes per game, and on the season he shot 50.6% from the field, 35.6% from three, and 73.6% at the line while leading the Horizon League in scoring at 21.3 points per game and producing 682 total points.

Across his Youngstown State career, Perry totaled 505 assists and set the school’s Division I steals record with 246, and he also finished with 201 made three-pointers and 504 made free throws. His senior year included 76 steals, which set the Youngstown State single-season record, and he entered that 2013–14 campaign as the Horizon League Preseason Player of the Year in addition to being listed among national mid-major watchlists for point guards heading into the season.
