Jordon Crawford made his NBL debut with the Tasmania JackJumpers at 33 years of age. He scored 13 points in his first game.
The 5’6 Point Guard will provide explosive scoring, leadership and the ability to create for his teammates.
“we’re extremely excited to welcome Jordon to the JackJumpers. He’s a great leader, a dynamic scorer and someone we feel the people of Tasmania can get really excited about and another player that they will love to get behind” Co-CEO Jorrick Chivers said on his arrival in Australia.
“I loved Tasmania. Obviously winning the Championship was incredible, but the fans made it so much more enjoyable. ” said Crawford after re-signing with Tasmania.
“And all the hard work put in by everyone in the club, the guys, coaches, and our admin staff. It was an easy choice to want to come back and run it back for another season” Crawford said.
The dynamic guard played all 37 games in the JackJumpers Championship season, averaging more than 16 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists in an average of 30 minutes per game.
While Crawford provided fans with some spectacular moments throughout the season, his 32 points in Game 5 of the do or die Championship including 27 in the first half, will be remembered by many.
Jordon Crawford currently plays for the Tasmania JackJumpers and has played 42 games in his NBL career. He has averaged 15.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists since entering the league in 2023.
