McRae later agreed terms with Al Ittihad Alexandria in Egypt ahead of the 2024–25 season, with reports noting his 2023–24 production at AEK Athens of 13.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game in Greek league play alongside 14.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in the Basketball Champions League.

McRae returned to Israel by joining Hapoel Holon for the 2025–26 season, with his move reported as a September 1, 2025 arrival, and he reconnected with head coach Danny Franco after their earlier season together in Tel Aviv while taking part in domestic play and Basketball Champions League activity for Holon.
