Energetic young forward Jack McVeigh has signed a two-year deal with the Tasmania JackJumpers, adding another strong piece to their rapidly growing Aussie core.

McVeigh’s addition will see the team’s current roster consist of Sam McDaniel, Clint Steindl, Sejr Deans (development player) and Will Magnay who is yet to be announced by the club but has already agreed to terms.

JackJumpers Head Coach Scott Roth is incredibly excited to have Jack part of the inaugural JackJumpers squad.

“Jack is a player I have been following closely for the past year and a half and he has shown constant improvement during that time. He is coming off a career best season in Adelaide and we look forward to his growth continuing in Tasmania.

“Jack’s energy on the court is infectious and his passion and love for the game is undeniable. That attitude is invaluable to us and it is sure to make him an instant fan favourite. We also believe Jack’s shooting ability will be a strong asset to us on the offensive end of the floor.”

McVeigh has seen his productivity develop considerably in each of his three seasons in the NBL and the team hope to further his development with Jack expected to be a big part of the team’s rotation next season.
