BIO: Darius Days, hailing from Gainesville, Florida, began his high school career at Williston High School, where he played junior varsity football as a freshman. However, for his sophomore year, he made the decision to transfer to The Rock School in Gainesville, shifting his focus solely to basketball. By his junior year, Days had already made a significant impact, averaging 21 points and 10 rebounds per game, earning the prestigious Gainesville Sun Small Schools Co-Player of the Year honor.
For his senior season, Days transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he further refined his skills and reputation. His strong performances caught the attention of top college programs, and despite offers from the likes of North Carolina, Louisville, Ohio State, and Xavier, he ultimately chose to commit to Louisiana State University (LSU) to continue his basketball journey.
FAMILY: Days is the son of Tracy and Greg Days.
Darius Days made his NBL debut with the Illawarra Hawks at 24 years of age. He scored 20 points in his first game.
After two years of college, Armstrong chose to play as a professional in Australia where the was a hot commodity by a host of NBL clubs, including his hometown Tasmania JackJumpers. The opportunity to play for Adam Forde however swayed his signature to play his rookie season with the Cairns Taipans.

In 2024, Darius Days signed with the Winnipeg Sea Bears of the Canadian Elite Basketball League on April 29. However, he was waived on June 10.
A week later, on June 17, 2024, Days signed with the TNT Tropang Giga of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) as the teams import for the 2024 PBA Governors Cup. On August 14, 2024, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson returned to the TNT Tropang Giga as the teams import for the same tournament.
Days played college basketball at Louisiana State University (LSU), where his game progressively improved over his four-year career. As a freshman, he averaged 5.3 points and 4 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game. By his sophomore year, Days had moved into the starting line-up and boosted his averages to 11.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. This season included a standout performance on January 8, 2020, where he recorded 16 points and 16 rebounds in a 79–77 win over Arkansas. He declared for the 2020 NBA Draft but later withdrew his name and returned to LSU for his junior season.
In his junior year, Days made an immediate impact, debuting with 24 points in a 94–81 victory over SIU Edwardsville on November 26, 2020. He averaged 11.6 points and a team-leading 7.8 rebounds per game that season. After declaring for the 2021 NBA Draft, he again opted to return to LSU for his senior year. As a senior, he had his best season, averaging 13.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game, while shooting 43.4% from the field and 35% from beyond the arc. This performance earned him a spot on the All-SEC Second Team.
