NBL EXPERIENCE

Chris Warren made his NBL debut with the Adelaide 36ers at 22 years of age. He scored 17 points in his first game.

Adelaide didn’t have much to be proud of this season. Propping up the rest of the league from the bottom of the ladder for the majority of the season. Besides Daniel Johnson’s development and a couple of wins against the Wildcat’s the only other high point of the season was when import Chris Warren exploded for 31 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals in 35 minutes on February 3 2011 in a 87-81 loss to the Melbourne Tigers.

In a brilliant display of shooting, he finished with a clip of 55% (10/18) from the field, 50% (5/10) from downtown and 100% (6/6) from the free throw line.

Chris Warren played one season in the NBL. He averaged 14.1 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in 28 NBL games.

Warren joined Uşak Sportif for the 2013 Turkish league season and returned for a second year after re-signing on June 10, 2014, extending his stay with the club through the 2014–15 season.

Warren joined AEK Athens on August 8, 2015 for the 2015 Greek league season before departing the club on November 27, 2015, then finished the 2015–16 season in Turkey with Yeşilgiresun Belediye.

Warren returned to Nanterre 92 for the 2016–17 season and averaged 14.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game across 20 games in the FIBA Europe Cup, playing alongside key contributors Spencer Butterfield and Heiko Schaffartzik as Nanterre won the FIBA Europe Cup in 2017, with Warren producing 24 points and 10 assists in the second leg of the final on May 4, 2017.

Warren joined Bahçeşehir Koleji on June 29, 2017 for the 2017 Turkish season before moving to Germany with Eisbären Bremerhaven for the 2018–19 season, where the roster included big man Keith Benson and wing Elston Turner.

COLLEGE

Warren played college basketball at Mississippi (Ole Miss) from 2007–08 through 2010–11, spending all four seasons in the SEC under head coach Andy Kennedy.

As a freshman in 2007–08, Warren played 35 games and made 34 starts, averaging 15.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 39.6% from the field, 38.9% on three-pointers, and 80.2% at the line.

That freshman season also brought multiple SEC Freshman of the Week awards and a spot on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

In 2008–09, Warren’s sophomore season was shortened to 11 games, but he still averaged 19.6 points and 4.0 assists per game in 34.4 minutes, with 38.6% field-goal shooting, 30.9% three-point shooting, and 85.5% free-throw shooting.

As a junior in 2009–10, he played 35 games and averaged 17.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game while shooting 42.6% from the floor and 40.4% from three, and he earned second-team All-SEC recognition.

During that junior year, he was also named a Bob Cousy Award candidate as one of the nationally recognized point-guard standouts.

Heading into his senior season, Warren was picked preseason first-team All-SEC by SEC and national media, and he returned as Ole Miss’ primary lead guard and perimeter scorer.

In 2010/11 he averaged 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists in 34 games during his senior year at Mississippi (NCAA).

In the official 2010–11 season totals, he started all 34 games, logged 1,185 minutes (34.9 per game), scored 649 points (19.1 per game), and shot 193-for-479 from the field (40.3%), 95-for-279 from three (34.1%), and 168-for-181 at the free-throw line (92.8%).

That same senior season, he totaled 76 rebounds (2.2 per game) and 128 assists (3.8 per game), with 23 steals, and he finished as a first-team All-SEC selection.

Warren produced one of the biggest single-game shooting nights of his career on Feb. 22, 2011, scoring a career-high 33 points while tying Ole Miss’ single-game record with eight made three-pointers.

He also authored a signature late-game moment against No. 10 Kentucky on Feb. 1, 2011, drilling a 25-footer with 2.9 seconds left to help Ole Miss pull the upset.

In postseason play that year, he scored 23 points against California in the NIT (first round), hitting five three-pointers while playing 40 minutes.

Across his Ole Miss career, Warren played 115 games (starting 114), finishing with 2,021 career points and 452 assists, while setting the school’s career record with 334 made three-pointers.

He remained a fixture on Ole Miss career leaderboards years later, including the program’s listed career three-point record (334) and career assist total (452), while also being cited among the school’s top career scorers (2,021 points).

Warren’s senior-year recognition extended beyond conference honors, as he was selected to the Reese’s College All-Star Game at the 2011 Final Four weekend and also entered the associated three-point contest event.
