Boomers Farewell Series on FOX SPORTS

Australian basketball fans have been asking, “Will the Boomers vs Pac 12 series be broadcast anywhere?”

After some cutting edge investigative journalism, and some remote control wizardry I can finally answer that question for you.

Yes!

Despite the deafening silence from Basketball Australia on the matter, the Boomers Farewell series will indeed be broadcast, LIVE and in HD on Fox Sports 2.

The games will be shown on Tuesday and Thursday, the 12th and 14th of July respectively, at 7:30pm AEST.

This photo should quell any skepticism over Bogut’s dedication to the Boomers.

Boomers fans will get to see Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova, Joe Ingles, Aron Baynes and the rest of the squad taking on the Pac 12 Conference All Stars in what will be a prelude to the Olympic Games in Rio.

The Boomers team which will contest the series will be without Andrew Bogut, but there are promising signs for his Olympic hopes as he works to recover from a freak knee injury with the Australian team camp.

Bogut has been working on his cardio, boxing with trainers, and is said to be optimistic about his recovery thus far.

Andrej Lemanis has stated that Bogut will be named in the Boomers’ final 12 man team, giving the big man another 30 days to get fit before suiting up against a yet-to-be-named opponent on August 6.

Now was that so hard, Basketball Australia?
