“ Big Nate” poured in 16 points and 6 rebounds in 37 minutes when his top placed Russian team Unics Kazan (14-2) defeated Zalgris (9-7) 77-73 in the last game of the regular season of the VTB United League. Unics Kazan having finished first in their leagues ‘Group A’ and have earned a semi-final spot. They next play the winners of the Quarter-Finals on May 2nd. Jawai finished the season averaging 11.7ppg and 4.2rpg.

The current Australian Boomers squad member Joe Ingles could not help deliver the win for Regal FC Barcelona (20-5) in their last game of the Spanish ACB season on Sunday. Daniel Kickert

Former Teams: St Mary’s (NCAA)

Sixth placed PGE Turow (0-4) lost to second placed Trefl Sopot (3-1) 78-87 in the Polish PLK. Despite the loss Daniel Kickert was the second highest scorer with 20 points and he also added 5 rebounds in 36 minutes. Kickert has performed well in Poland averaging 14.9ppg and 3.9rpg in 27 games.

Former international point guard Rhys Carter was dominating as Uppsala Basket (21-15) got the victory against closely-ranked Boras Basket (21-15) in the last game of the season 95-81 on Tuesday night. Carter scored 29 points, 6 assists and 3 steals. It was his team”s third consecutive victory in a row. Carter finished fifth in the league in assists and third in the league in steals. Carter finished with averages of 15.7ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.8apg and 2.5spg
