COACHING HISTORY

After retiring in 1986 Campbell spent a two years away from the game before moving into the role of assistant coach of the Canberra Cannons in 1988. Campbell saw his first action of head coach in 1989 when Cannons coach Steve Breheny was suspended for a game, thrusting Campbell into the role of interim head coach for one game.
