BIO: Groves was born in Spokane, Washington. He attended Shadle Park High School, where he was named All-State and All-Greater Spokane League as a senior after averaging 18.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Poland - Anwil Włocławek (2023-2024) | China - Xinjiang (2024) | Germany - SC Rasta Vechta (2024)
Groves began his pro career playing in Poland with Anwil Włocławek. Mid-way through the season he chose to leave the club (Jan 2024) to join the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China.He also left this team mid-season, joining German team SC Rasta Vechta one month later, where he averaged 7.6 points and 5.6 rebounds.
COLLEGE
2018/19
As a redshirt freshman, Groves primarily played off the bench, gaining valuable experience but with limited playing time.
2019/20
Groves continued his role as a reserve during his sophomore season, showing flashes of potential while still coming off the bench.
2020/21
Groves’ breakthrough came in his redshirt junior season when he earned a starting role and was named the Big Sky Conference Player of the Year. He averaged 17.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, establishing himself as one of the top players in the conference.
OKLAHOMA SOONERS
2021/22
On April 18, 2021, Groves transferred to Oklahoma. In his first season with the Sooners, he started all 34 games, averaging 11.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game while shooting over 38 percent from three-point range.
2022/23
During his redshirt senior season, Groves continued to be a key contributor for Oklahoma, averaging 10.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game. He also recorded a team-high six double-doubles, showcasing his all-around impact on both ends of the floor.
