Siulepa received a scholarship to attend the Australian Institute of Sport (Canberra) in 2022. He spent one year there and played for the program’s state league team.

NBL EXPERIENCE

Siulepa, of Samoan heritage, was named the MVP of the 2024 U20 National Championships, where he averaged an impressive 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists per game despite being a bottom-age player.

Siulepa was also named in the All-Star Five at the 2023 FIBA Under-17 Oceania Championships and was awarded the 2023 Queensland Basketball Male Player of the Year.

The 17-year-old was also named the Bob Staunton Medallist as tournament MVP in the National Under-20 Championships in February, where he helped lead Queensland to a silver medal, before being one of three Australian teens to be invited to the Basketball Without Borders camp at the NBA All-Star weekend in Indiana.

STATE LEAGUE EXPERIENCE

  • South West Metro 2024-25



In 2024, Siulepa was a part of a talented South West Metro team that included former NBL stars Lamar Patterson and Brendan Teys.

Siulepa started the 2024 NBL1 season averaging 17 points and 9 rebounds per game (first 5 games).

In 2025, Siulepa returned to play for SW Metro Pirates in the NBL1. In just his second outing for club, he delivered one of his best games for the season, helping guide the team to a 106–100 victory over Rockhampton in NBL1 North. Siulepa delivered 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 steal while shooting 11/19 from the field (57%).

FIBA EXPERIENCE

Siulepa represented led Australia to a gold medal at the 2024 Albert Schweitzer Tournament by averaging 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals. Those feats led Siulepa to a selection in the All-Tournament Team, alongside fellow Next Star Rocco Zikarsky. He also represented Australia at the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup and helped the country claim gold at the 2022 FIBA U16 Asian Championships.
