Host Dan Boyce chats with Donaldson about arriving in Sydney in 1994 and playing alongside Leon Trimmingham, helping the Kings return to the playoffs and establishing himself as one of the league’s best outside shooters.
Donaldson also reflects on the tougher moments from his time with the Kings, returning to Australia with the Canberra Cannons in 1997, and a successful international career that included playing in Canada, Israel, Cyprus, the Philippines and Venezuela.
Despite playing only two NBL seasons, Donaldson averaged more than 20 points per game across his career and remains seventh all-time in NBL three-point percentage among players with more than 100 attempts.
