Leaupepe has experience playing for the Australian National Team at the 2017 Albert Schweitzer Tournament, and winning gold at the 2017 FIBA U17 Oceania and 2018 FIBA U18 Asian Championship.

COLLEGE

He played five seasons for the Loyola Marymount Lions, where he averaged 10.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game across 129 appearances for the Los Angeles-based NCAA division one university.

Highlights from that five-year tenure in California include being named to the WCC (West Coast Conference) All-Freshman Team, being named to the All-WCC Honorable Mention team in his sophomore year and finishing off his last two years as a Lion being named to the WCC All-Academic team in 2022-23 and 2023-24.

During his fifth season with the Lions, Leaupepe appeared in 21 games, making 19 starts, before an injury forced an early end to his final season of college basketball. He shot 42.4 percent from the field and 31.1 percent from three, scoring 208 total points and averaged 9.9 points per game. He ranked second on the team and 13th in the West Coast Conference with 5.2 rebounds per game after grabbing 110 boards. Scored a season-high 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting against Portland (1/25/24) and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds in the win over Jackson State (11/14/23).
