STATE LEAGUE EXPERIENCE

  • Canberra (2012), Hills (2011), Cairns (2013–2015), Bendigo (2016–2019, 2021)

Andronicos joined Hills for the 2011 Waratah League season, giving him the earliest supplied state league stop of his senior career while based in New South Wales before moving into the AIS pathway.

The following year, Andronicos joined the AIS for the 2012 SEABL season and continued his development in Canberra. The AIS men’s group during that period included Andronicos alongside players such as Dante Exum, Mirko Djeric, Darcy Harding, Owen Odigie, Ben Richmond, Jaecob Snow and Cade Towers, with his AIS tenure running across 2011 and 2012.

Andronicos moved to Cairns for the 2013 QBL season, joining the Marlins frontcourt during a year in which the team finished second with a 14–2 regular-season record. Cairns lost 99–86 to Townsville in the elimination finals, while Andronicos led the league in field goal percentage at 63.51 percent.

He continued with Cairns for the 2014 QBL season and remained part of a Marlins team that again finished near the top of the competition. Cairns ended the regular season third with a 13–3 record and reached the elimination finals before losing 83–63 to Mackay.

Andronicos stayed with Cairns for the 2015 QBL season, completing the supplied 2013–2015 Marlins stint. Cairns finished seventh with a 10–7 record and missed the finals that year.

Bendigo added Andronicos for the 2016 SEABL season, bringing in a 6’10 centre as part of the Braves’ senior frontcourt. Bendigo won the East Conference championship with a 76–64 overtime victory against Nunawading, then claimed the SEABL national championship by defeating Mount Gambier 79–61 in the final.

Returning to Bendigo for the 2017 SEABL season, Andronicos remained with the Braves after their championship-winning year. He delivered one of his key Bendigo performances against Hobart, scoring 21 points and making the go-ahead jump shot with 31 seconds remaining in an 89–87 win over the Chargers.

Andronicos continued with Bendigo for the 2018 SEABL season and stayed with the Braves through the final year of the SEABL era. Bendigo finished sixth at 12–10, with the league’s senior men’s competition then shifting into the NBL1 structure the following season.

The 2019 NBL1 season kept Andronicos in Bendigo for his fourth season with the Braves. He averaged 7.0 points and 2.8 rebounds across 23 games, while Bendigo reached the inaugural NBL1 men’s Grand Final after entering the finals from eighth place and winning through the playoff bracket. The Braves defeated Melbourne 86–76 in the elimination final, beat Kilsyth 115–104 in the semi-final and defeated Ballarat 75–68 in the preliminary final before losing 99–90 to Nunawading in the Grand Final.

Andronicos rejoined Bendigo for the 2021 NBL1 South season, with the Braves confirming his return on 13 April 2021 alongside Jake Lloyd. He was part of Bendigo’s listed men’s roster with Ray Turner, Javaan Mumtaz, Nelson Larkins, Luke Rosendale, Jacob Foy, Jake Lloyd, Taylor Bell, Chris Hogan, Brennan Rymer, Jack White, Trent Leech and Matthew Johnston, and scored eight points in five first-half minutes off the bench against Hobart in Round 10.
