Playing NBA Yahoo Fantasy hoops is an addictive hobby for basketball diehards and wannabe GMs.

Millions of fans and players across the globe try their luck to create or join NBA Yahoo Fantasy leagues to play, sometimes even pay, and win. It’s part of the culture of staying “connected” to their favourite NBA stars, staying updated with the daily stats and be closer to the action throughout the NBA season.

The top player on NBA Yahoo Fantasy is none other than newly anointed LA Laker star Anthony Davis. He is a stat-filler, versatile enough to fill nine categories and play multiple positions. He is a hot-favourite to win the MVP award next season. His only knock is that he is injury prone so take him at your own risk.

The rest of the NBA Yahoo Fantasy Top 10 are rounded off in order by James Harden, Stephen Curry, Karl-Anthony Towns, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Damian Lillard, Joel Embiid, LeBron James and Bradley Beal.

NBA stars are ranked accordingly based on their previous statistics last season.

For Australian NBA stars, only three Australians made the TOP 250.

Fantasy Basketball Draft Rankings (2019-2020)

# 31 Ben Simmons (PHI – PG, SF)

#81 Joe Ingles (UTA – SG, SF)

#250 Aron Baynes (PHO – C)

If you play Fantasy Basketball regularly, you would already know which players/stars you want to select.  You wish you can draft your favourites, but most of the time you have to settle with a few stars and a role players who specialise in certain categories to balance the lineup.

Looking at their rankings, Ben Simmons can rack up high numbers in rebounds, assists, field goal percentage and points. He still needs to expand his shooting range to develop his offensive arsenal, and to cut down on turnovers.

Ingles is a bona fide starter for the Utah Jazz who contributes to his team by doing some of the dirty work. A lot of times his stats do not count because of the intangibles he provides on defence. His all around game makes him an ideal player on your NBA Fantasy team.

Baynes is moving to the Phoenix Suns after a solid stint with the Boston Celtics last season. He is expected to back up big man DeAndre Ayton, but at the same time provide shooting from the outside with his three-point range and grab rebounds in limited time.

Missing from NBA Yahoo Fantasy TOP 250: Patty Mills, Thon Maker, Matthew Delladova, Jonah Bolden, Deng Adel, Dante Exum, Andrew Bogut
