Mills joined EiffelTowers Den Bosch for the 2010–11 Dutch Basketball League season, playing his first season in the Netherlands and earning league recognition when he was named DBL Statistical Player of the Year and selected to the All-DBL Team.
Mills joined Szolnoki Olaj for the 2011–12 Hungarian NB I/A season, and that year he was part of a title-winning campaign as Szolnok won the Hungarian league championship and the Hungarian Cup.
Mills joined Elizur Ashkelon for the 2012–13 Israeli Basketball Premier League season, and during that stint he was used as a backcourt option in rotation with imports and locals, including a February 2013 game where he was inserted during a second-quarter comeback push and helped change the tempo after Ashkelon trailed by double digits.
Mills joined Metros de Santiago during 2013 in the Dominican Republic and then returned to Israel for the 2013–14 season with Barak Netanya, continuing his European and international club run across multiple leagues.
Mills later joined Sopron for the 2016–17 season in Hungary, marking a return to the Hungarian top division after earlier success with Szolnok.
COLLEGE
Mills played college basketball at Ball State beginning in the 2003–04 season, where he competed from 2003 to 2007 for the Cardinals in the Mid-American Conference.
In the 2003–04 season, Ball State finished 9–19 overall and 4–14 in MAC play under head coach Tim Buckley, and Mills appeared in 27 games as a freshman, averaging 6.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game while shooting 38.2% from the field and 31.6% from three-point range.
Across that freshman campaign he recorded 172 total points, 60 total rebounds, 19 assists, and 18 steals, while averaging 18.0 minutes per game.
During the 2004–05 season, Ball State improved to 14–15 overall (9–9 MAC), and Mills played in 28 games, increasing his averages to 9.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 41.5% from the field and 34.8% from beyond the arc.
He totaled 261 points that season along with 87 rebounds, 31 assists, and 22 steals, and he scored in double figures in 13 games.
In the 2005–06 season, Ball State posted a 10–18 overall record (6–12 MAC), and Mills appeared in all 28 games, averaging 12.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 44.1% from the field and 36.7% from three-point range.
That junior season included 359 total points, 112 total rebounds, 48 assists, and 29 steals, and he recorded multiple 20-point performances, including a season-high outing of 23 points in conference play.
As a senior in 2006–07, Ball State finished 9–22 overall (5–11 MAC), and Mills started 30 of 31 games, leading the team in scoring at 16.2 points per game while also averaging 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest.
He totaled 502 points during his senior campaign, along with 158 rebounds, 72 assists, and 34 steals, and he scored 20 or more points in 10 games that season.
Across his four-year Ball State career from 2003 to 2007, Mills appeared in 114 games and accumulated 1,294 total points, averaging 11.4 points per game, along with 417 total rebounds, 170 assists, and 103 steals.
He concluded his collegiate career as one of the program’s primary perimeter scoring options during his senior season and finished among the team leaders in scoring and minutes played in his final two years.
