In his sophomore season at Oregon in 1981–82, Cofield again logged starter-level minutes while playing 22 games with 21 starts, lifting his production to 11.8 points, 3.5 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per contest as his playmaking load increased in the Ducks’ backcourt.

    • Why Newcastle’s NBL Return Is Closer Than You Think

The conversation around NBL expansion has intensified in recent years, with the league publicly confirming discussions with potential markets such as Canberra, the Gold Coast, and Darwin. However, one city that continues to quietly build momentum as a realistic candidate for a future franchise is Newcastle.
